Our Unique Facility
Oceanic Releaf’s facility is truly one-of-a-kind, nestled along the stunning coast of the Atlantic Ocean on the Burin Peninsula. Once a repurposed fish plant, it now houses a state-of-the-art cannabis cultivation operation. Here, we produce some of the highest-grade craft cannabis available, serving both the international medical market and the Canadian recreational market.
This transformed fish plant features multiple small-batch bloom rooms, allowing us to meticulously maintain our canopy and uphold the cultivation process as an art form. Using advanced aeroponic cloners, we transform uniform cuttings into consistently high-quality plants, ensuring stability from start to harvest.
Natural and Sustainable Practices
At Oceanic Releaf, we love what we grow and where we grow it. We minimize our environmental impact by repurposing foliage waste from our cultivation process.
We use a growing medium made from coconut husks, providing a sterile and versatile substrate. After harvest, we combine the plant waste with used coconut substrate and coffee grounds from our retail stores to create compost. This compost is sent to Abel Cattle Co., a local farm, where it enriches pastures and fields, benefiting the cattle and the land.
Oceanic Releaf is dedicated to sustainability and natural cultivation methods. We do not use any pesticides; instead, we employ natural methods and preventative actions to keep our plants healthy. This commitment to natural cultivation ensures that our products are safe and environmentally friendly.
